Summer Reading Club Grades K-1 In-Person

Join us this summer for our Grade K–1 Summer Reading Club! Each week features a fun new theme with stories, crafts, and activities designed for young learners. Pop in anytime during our 2-hour session window for some summer reading fun — activities are designed for shorter visits, so families can come and go as it works for them. To make sure everyone gets a chance to join the fun, please choose one session per week to attend.

Week 1: Curious Creators – Spark imagination with hands-on creativity and playful projects!

Week 2: Royal Readers & Dreamers – Step into a world of fairy tales, castles, and magical adventures.

Week 3: Barnyard Bonanza – Celebrate all things farm fun with stories, games, and activities.

Week 4: Legends of the Sea – Dive into ocean adventures filled with sea creatures and treasure hunts.

Week 5: Music & Motion Mashup – Move, groove, and make some noise with music-filled fun.

Week 5: Mysteries & Masterminds – Solve puzzles, crack clues, and become a junior detective!

Children ages 8 and under attending the drop-in Summer Reading Club must have a parent, guardian, or caregiver remain in the library building while their child is participating in the program. While library staff lead scheduled activities, caregivers are responsible for supervision and support outside of the program space.
