Stress & the Nervous System: An Introduction to Yoga Therapy In-Person

Stress affects more than just the mind, it influences the entire nervous system and how we experience our bodies. Join us for this educational talk, learn how the nervous system responds to stress, and why body-based practices can help support a greater sense of steadiness and well-being.

This session introduces the foundations of yoga therapy, an approach rooted in traditional yoga philosophy that uses gentle movement, breath, and awareness practices to support nervous system regulation. Participants will learn a few simple tools that can be used in everyday life.

No yoga experience required. Chair-friendly and accessible to all.
