Anti Racism Education and Biases In-Person
Build awareness and understanding of systemic racism while gaining practical tools to identify and challenge discriminatory behaviours, policies, and practices within communities, organizations, and institutions. This session explores key concepts including race, racism, and anti-racism; historical and contemporary forms of racism; intersectionality and related “isms”; white privilege and systemic inequality; and Indigenous perspectives on anti-racism. Participants will also learn strategies for building allyship and taking meaningful action to support inclusive, equitable workplaces, services, and programs.
