Babysitting Safety Course In-Person

This Babysitting Safety Course teaches youth essential caregiving, safety, and emergency response skills, covering child development, feeding/diapering, handling tantrums, first aid (choking, bleeding), preventing household dangers (strangers, pools) and the business side of babysitting (resume, interviewing) to build confidence and responsibility for caring for children and even staying home alone. This course aims to train responsible, skilled and prepared young caregivers.

Ages 11-15. Registration required.

In partnership with Closer to Home.

*A lunch of sandwiches, chips, cookies, juice and fruit will be provided by Closer To Home. If your child has allergies or doesn't feel comfortable eating the provided lunch, please feel free to bring a packed lunch.
