Checkmate! In-Person
Join us for a 7-week beginner-friendly chess program led by instructors from the Checkmate Foundation of Canada. Participants will learn the fundamentals of chess while building strategy, focus, and problem-solving skills in a fun, supportive environment. Each session includes guided instruction and time to play, making it perfect for beginners while welcoming players of all experience levels.
This program runs Saturday from March 7 to April 25 (no session on March 21) and supports cognitive development, confidence, and social connection — all through the power of play.
Grades 4-12. Registration Required
In partnership with the Checkmate Foundation of Canada.
