Food Safety 101 Workshop In-Person
Join us for a FREE Food Safety Basics Course facilitated by an AHS Environmental Public Health Inspector. This fast-paced, three-hour session is designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills for safe food handling (strongly recommended for 2026 Taste of Nations vendors).
Topics include:
- Understanding microbes and foodborne illnesses
- Best practices for food preparation, storage, and handling
- Effective cleaning and sanitizing procedures
Upon successful completion of the course and final test, participants will receive a Food Safety Certificate.
A good understanding of written and spoken English is recommended, but accommodations for course materials in other languages are available.
