The Art of Mehendi In-Person
The Library is a place where everyone belongs, and today we celebrate that diversity through art. Mehendi, also known as henna, has been used for more than 5,000 years to express joy, creativity, and connection. Each November, communities across Canada recognize the rich culture, traditions, and valuable contributions of Hindu Canadians. In celebration of this vibrant heritage, we invite everyone to join us for a hands-on Mehendi application session. As an art form rooted in sharing and community, Mehendi is best experienced together with friends, family, and neighbours.
Registration required, drop-ins welcome if space permits.
