Effective Communication for Newcomers In-Person
Effective Communication for Newcomers: Listening, Understanding, & Being Understood in the Canadian Workplace.
The session will focus on active listening, understanding workplace communication, and enhancing self-awareness. It will help newcomers learn strategies to improve the communication skills needed to succeed in the Canadian workplace.
In order for participants to get the most out of the session, it is recommended that participants have a CLB of at least 5.
In partnership with Bow Valley College, Mentorship for Rural Immigrants.
