3D Printer Certification Part 2 In-Person
Build on your 3D printing skills in this hands-on follow-up workshop. In Part 2, participants will learn the basics of slicing software, including how to prepare files for printing. We will also cover essential machine setup, such as safely loading and unloading filament, and review the terms and conditions for using the Create Space. Completion of this course is required to use the 3D printing services at APL.
Library laptops will be provided for use during the session.
Important: Completion of 3D Printing Workshop: Part 1 is required to be completed via this web app before attending this workshop. Participants who have not completed Part 1 will be asked to register for the introductory session before continuing.
This workshop is ideal for those ready to move beyond the basics and gain confidence operating the equipment and preparing their own prints.
