Popcorn & PowerPoints is a fun and welcoming community presentation series where people share what fascinates them. Inspired by “TED Talks,” community members take the spotlight to share their passions, hobbies, stories, experiences, and unique interests while everyone enjoys popcorn and learns together!
Who can present?
You don’t need to be an expert or professional speaker. Everyone has a story, skill, or curiosity worth sharing!
What could you present about?
If it makes you think, “I never knew that!” or “I want to learn more!” — we want to hear from you.
Join us on October 8 as a listener, or step into the spotlight as a presenter! Have a topic you're passionate about? We'd love to hear from you. Simply submit a Popcorn & PowerPoints Presenter Application through the Airdrie Public Library website. Presenter applications are reviewed and approved, and selected presenters will be invited to share their passion with the audience.
