Rangoli Workshop and Clay Diya Making In-Person

Discover the beauty and meaning of traditional Indian art through Rangoli and Diya making, hands-on activities rooted in creativity, celebration, and cultural heritage.

Rangoli is a centuries-old art form traditionally created during festivals like Diwali, weddings, and special occasions. Using geometric patterns and vibrant colors, participants will explore symmetry, color harmony, and the calming, meditative nature of this expressive art form while creating their own Rangoli design step by step.

The experience continues with Diya making, where participants design and decorate a traditional clay oil lamp. Diyas hold deep cultural significance in India, symbolizing light, positivity, and the triumph of good over evil. Using clay, paint, and decorative materials, participants will craft a meaningful piece to take home.

Suitable for beginners and experienced creatives alike, this welcoming workshop encourages creativity, mindfulness, and cultural connection, all while celebrating tradition, artistry, and community.
