Get to Know Your Library! Drop-in anytime between 11am-2pm and

  • Join us for a guided tour and discover everything your library has to offer
  • Explore the many clubs that meet here, learn who their members are, and find out how to join. Clubs such as the Monday & Wednesday morning & Wednesday Evening book clubs, The Writers' Club, Airdrie Pride's Be Gay, Do Crafts & Rolling with Pride, (D&D)

  • Do you know about Voice and Vision? They will celebrate 10 years of art and poetry. Ask for more information

  • Looking to improve your English?  We have a program for that! Members and the facilitator of Conversation Circle will be present to ask questions about how to participate in this weekly meet up

  • Check out the Library of Things — you might leave with something surprising!

  • Try out equipment in the Create Space and learn how to qualify for hands-on use.

  • Meet local author Jessica Friesen and maybe even take home one of her books.

  • Enjoy live music by Phil Hoffman and catch a live broadcast from Air 106 FM.

  • The Library Advocates will have sweet handmade bookworm bookmarks for sale

Club members and library staff will be on hand to chat, answer questions, and hear your ideas. Whether for children, teens, or adults, if you’re curious about our programs — or have suggestions for new ones — we’d love to talk with you.
