DESCRIPTION:Join Youth Airdrie for a fun and interactive leadership series! 
 Register separately for each workshop\, earn a badge every time you 
 attend\, and work toward your Leadership Certificate at your own 
 pace—just complete six workshops and one volunteer activity at the 
 library or in your community\, school\, team\, or club. With hands-on 
 activities\, real-life skills\, and tons of ways to get involved\, this 
 program helps you build confidence\, make an impact\, and become the kind 
 of leader you want to be. \n\nAges 11-16. Registration required.\n\nJan 12- 
 Becoming a Leader\nLearn about three different types of leaders and 
 discover which style feels most like you. Through fun activities and 
 teamwork\, you’ll learn how to build confidence and lead in your own 
 way.\n\nJan 19- Junior Finance\nFind out how to build good money habits\, 
 make smart choices\, and avoid debt as you get older. This workshop helps 
 you feel confident about saving\, spending\, and planning for the 
 future.\n\nJan 26- Effective Communication\nExplore the four personality 
 styles and figure out which one matches you best. You’ll practice easy 
 ways to communicate with different types of people and express yourself 
 clearly.\n\nFeb 2- Conflict Management\nLearn how to handle tough 
 situations\, stand up to bullies\, and avoid toxic friendships. This 
 workshop gives you the tools to build healthy relationships and help make 
 your community safer and kinder.\n\nFeb 9- Planning and 
 Organizing\nDiscover how to set goals\, stay on top of your time\, and 
 learn the six habits of super organized people. You’ll leave knowing 
 practical tips to help you stay focused and get things done.\n\nFeb 23- 
 Learn to Belong\nTalk about privilege\, bias\, and the power of community 
 in a safe and friendly space. This workshop helps you understand others 
 better and feel more connected to the people around you.\n\nIn partnership 
 with Youth Airdrie.\n
